Sometimes Caroline gets some great lines, and here's some of my favourites.

The Bill

line

Episode:  Deep End
In the canteen, the relief are trying to find out whether Rosie's single or not.

Dave: Rosie, Eddie's desperate to know if you're available.
Rosie: Oh, I thought he was just desperate.

line

Episode:  Deep End
Eddie and Rosie disagree over a case when the panda car.

Rosie: Is the chip on your shoulder permanent or do you take it off on rest days?

line

Episode:  Deep End
Eddie's not convinced that Rosie will be able to do an undercover job as a prostitute when she's really a graduate.

Rosie: I'm not planning to attract Bellman's attention in a gown and mortar board.

Episode:  Deep End
Eddie's worried that Rosie's getting out of her depth.

Rosie: I'm a big girl, Ed. I can take care of myself.

Episode:  Deep End
To Eddie when he was worried that she would get into trouble when undercover.

Rosie: OK, I'll send up a smoke, or run up a flag, or maybe you could teach me some semophore; how about that?

In the locker-room after a post-op party.

Eddie: I thought we could do something later.
Rosie: Like what, Ed? A game of crazy golf?

Episode:  The Party's Over
Vicky Hagen makes a bitchy comment in the ladies' toilets.

Rosie: Is this just mindless prejudice, Vicky, or have you got any particular reasons for disliking me?

Episode:  Bang, Bang, You're Dead
Liz Rawton asks Rosie how she's getting on at Sunhill.

Rosie: Half the relief think I'm a stuck-up, duplicited cow, but apart from that it's just great.

Episode:  Old Flame
Rosie's boss and boyfriend, DCI Richard Pallister accuses her of having feelings for Eddie Santini.

Rosie: Oh, I do enjoy a thorough, well-considered argument!

Episode:  Old Flame
To Pallister, who thinks she's too involved in a case.

Rosie: Just because I'm sleeping with you doesn't mean I can't do my job.

Episode:  The Trial Of Eddie Santini
Rosie meets Liz Rawton for a cup of coffee and Liz asks her why she's still seeing Pallister.

Rosie: Sex! Everything else about him I could do without.

 

The Vice

Episode:  Daughters
Dougie Raymond tries chatting Cheryl up.

Cheryl: There's two types of people in this job, Dougie. The ones who like to keep a little bit of distance and the ones who get involved; and that's got nothing to do with what's between your legs!

Episode:  Sons
Cheryl's temporarily forced out of the vice squad and Dougie tries to talk to her about it. As he leaves she pulls out a model gun and aims at him.

Cheryl: You ever pull rank on me and I'll break your bloody legs!

Episode:  Betrayed

To a PC who's been sucking up to the Inspector, whilst applying to join the Vice Squad.

PC: You taking the piss?
Cheryl: You better get used to it if you're thinking of moving in here.

Episode:  Lovesick
DI Greer from AMIP trys to persuade Cheryl to drop a complaint of racial prejudice.

DI Greer: You can't trust every police officer.
Cheryl: Well working with you has certainly taught me that, Maam!

Episode:  Into The Night
After a drunken night of passion with a barman who's been eyeing her up for a couple of nights, she then wants an introduction.

Cheryl: Erm...It's Antonio, right?

Episode:  Forces Of Nature
To Pat Chappel, who's undercover in a sex offenders prison, after he was told off for not having a shave.

Cheryl: Well the tramp look is out.
